PRIVACY NOTICE
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter “GDPR”), please be advised as follows:

- A data subject whose personal data is processed by ZPUE may direct questions regarding the processing of their data by e-mail .
- As regards the business partners and users of the equipment sold by ZPUE and their employees:
- ZPUE will process the personal data for the purpose of contact, negotiations, contract performance, pursuit of claims and complaint processing. Providing the data is voluntary but it is necessary for efficient cooperation, and in some cases, it is required under the applicable law (e.g., data for invoices).
- ZPUE will process personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) of the GDPR.
- The legitimate interests pursued by ZPUE may include the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, prevention of fraud, ensuring the security of the ICT environment, or use of internal compliance monitoring processes.
- Recipients of personal data may include parties that provide services to ZPUE, including IT, consulting, accounting, auditing, legal, dispatch, payment, archiving and document destruction services as well as services of statutory auditors and notaries.
- The personal data will be kept for the duration of business contacts, negotiations, contract performance, cooperation or complaint processing. The retention period will be extended by the respective period of limitation of claims if the processing of data is necessary for the establishment or pursuit of any claims or defence against such claims by ZPUE. After these periods, the data will be retained only for the time required by law.
- The data subject will have the right to request from ZPUE access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. If the data are processed based on consent, the data subject may withdraw their consent at any time, which does not affect the compliance of any processing done before the consent was withdrawn.
- The data subject will have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- Regarding the users of the website:
- ZPUE will process personal data for statistical purposes.
- Providing the data is not a statutory or contractual requirement. The data (IP number, operating system, data of the ISP, browser type and version, date and time of the opening of the website, websites from which the ZPUE website was opened) are collected when the zpue.com website is used.
- ZPUE will process personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
- It is a legitimate interest of ZPUE to analyse the way the zpue.com website is used.
- Personal data recipients may include parties that provide services to ZPUE regarding the analysis and management of websites.
- The personal data will not be kept for more than 50 months.
- The data subject will have the right to request from ZPUE access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. If the data are processed based on consent, the data subject may withdraw their consent at any time, which does not affect the compliance of any processing done before the consent was withdrawn.
- The data subject will have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- ZPUE does not make any decisions that are based exclusively on automated processing, including profiling, and have a material impact on the data subject.
- As regards job applicants:
- ZPUE will process the data for the purposes of the recruitment process and future recruitment processes, based on the voluntary consents of the applicant.
- Your personal data will not be provided to any parties or transferred to a third country / international organisation.
- The personal data will be kept until the end of the recruitment process, and if the data subject consents to the processing of their data for the purposes of future recruitment processes – for up to 36 months from the submission of recruitment documents.
- The applicant will have the right to access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. The data subject may withdraw their consent at any time, which does not affect the compliance of any processing done before the consent was withdrawn.
- The data subject will have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- Providing the personal data is a necessary condition for participation in the recruitment processes of ZPUE.
- The personal data of the applicant will not be processed by automated means, including profiling.
