General description

Rozdzielnica Rotoblok SF

Modern, indoor medium voltage Rotoblok SF type switchgear cubicles. They are designed for the distribution of three-phase electricity with 50 Hz rated frequency, and rated voltage up to 25 kV in industrial distribution networks. The switchgears are configured from single typical modules with diverse accessories. The information and technical data included in this catalogue allow the designer to build the switchgear from typical modules.

Characteristics

The Rotoblok SF switchgear is a two-part, indoor, air insulated switchgear in a zinc galvanized steel cubicle, with a single, primary busbar system. The switchgear is equipped with modern, three-position switch disconnectors and disconnectors in SF6 isolation. Each tank is made from stainless steel, which assures excellent technical condition throughout the switchgear’s life. The switchgear contains a primary busbar and cable compartment, while the arc-proof design ensures a high level of operator safety.

Distribution bays perform the following properties:

  • smaller dimensions (compared to switchgears with air insulated apparatus) maintaining their high electrical parameters, such as: isolation level, rated current and short-circuit current resistance,
  • two-compartment bay design, which allows separation of the primary busbar and power supply cables compartments,
  • high operational reliability,
  • long operation time, without cumbersome service operations,
  • excellent corrosion resistance: switchgear is constructed from zinc coated metal,
  • universality in designing different switchgear configurations with any number of bays,
  • advanced and reliable switchgear switching apparatus including switch disconnectors and GTR SF type disconnectors (ZPUE) and IM6 (SAREL), VB-4S circuit breakers (ZPUE) or circuit breakers from other manufacturers,
  • adapted for the installation of advanced protection and control apparatus,
  • the possibility to mount the switchgear cubicle on the wall helps save space in the distribution room, which is important during modernization and the expansion of existing switchgears,
  • quick and easy access to monitor and maintain the switchgear units,
  • simple operation.

Safety and interlock system

  • arc-proof design - resistance to internal arcing effects,
  • specially reinforced bay structure (enclosures, locks, hinges),
  • mechanical interlocks, which prevent incorrect switching procedures and touching the live apparatus,
  • access to control gear and control circuits is possible when primary circuits are out of the operator’s reach,
  • application of monitoring circuits, signaling, mechanical and electronic position indicators and inspection windows,
  • application of three-position “activate- deactivate- ground” switch disconnectors and disconnectors with mechanical position indicators,
  • application of fast grounding switches with an impulse operating mechanism,
  • application of fast grounding switches with an impulse operating mechanism, which guarantee safety in case of short-circuit.

The maximum transformer power that can be connected and disconnected using GTR SF 2V, GTR SF 2VM and IM6P-TF disconnector depends on medium voltage:

In the Rotoblok SF switchgear, typical fuse links with thermal protection are used in accordance with IEC 282-1, DIN 43625 standards.

  • GTR SF 1, IM6S - disconnector with grounding switch,
  • GTR SF 1M - disconnector with grounding switch and engine drive,
  • GTR SF 2V, IM6P-TF - fuse switch with grounding switch,
  • GTR SF 2VM - fuse switch with grounding switch and engine drive,
  • GTR SF 4, IM6P-TD - switch disconnector with grounding switch,
  • VB-4S circuit breaker (or another, after consultation with the manufacturer).
